Will call customers are setup to monitor their own fuel oil usage. When a customer calls we will deliver the same day, if the order is placed before noon on that day. Canal Fuel will deliver heating oil at any hour, day or night. Surcharges and fees may apply to after hour’s deliveries or service.

Most of our customers choose to have their oil delivered to them automatically at no additional charge to alleviate the unnecessary anxiety that comes with the responsibility of watching their own oil usage. Supply and delivery of oil are critical to our customers comfort and satisfaction. We have our own storage facility so you can rest assured that you will always have a consistent supply of heating oil. Automatic delivery at no additional charge is based on a computerized, degree-day system, which is monitored 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. When your account has accrued enough degree-days, our computer technology advises us to dispatch a delivery to your home. You can be sure you will not be overlooked. Our office staff, drivers and technicians are disciplined and pride themselves in their ability to do what we do best…keep your home warm, safe and comfortable.

Canal Fuel customers who receive automatic delivery will be offered our highly recommended Comprehensive Maintenance Plan which includes a yearly burner cleaning and tune-up. Yearly maintenance is designed to protect your home heating system while achieving maximum efficiency.

Our office staff will work with you on an individual basis to create a budget payment plan that best suits your fuel consumption needs. We will research your usage during the previous heating season to do so. New customers can request information regarding their previous years’ consumption from their former oil provider.
